"The charm of Copacabana, the narrow streets, happiness flavored with a pinch of nostalgia... a beautiful dream".
V-Monkeys, Milan 2020
The Bossa Nova music genre emerged in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1950s as a revival of Brazilian music and culture. The story of Bossa Nova unfolded on Beco das Garrafas, a small street in Copacabana, where young residents, cariocas, would gather to enjoy new music until dawn. It was a synthesis of samba, Brazilian rhythms, American jazz and innovative Portuguese lyrics. The Bossa Nova genre not only changed music, but became a way of life and an integral part of Brazilian culture.
Carioca Heart fragrance opens with sparkling, sunny notes of lemon and tropical accords of pineapple and mango. Peony, rum absolute and the woody softness of sandalwood gradually immerse into a more romantic atmosphere. Enveloping vanilla sounds in the background, combined with notes of labdanum, operanide and ambroxan.
