Angels' Share is the first Kilian Paris fragrance created in collaboration with French perfumer Benoît Lapousa. The fragrance is inspired by the secrets of cognac craftsmanship inherited by the eighth generation of the dynasty and invites you to take a walk through the cognac cellars of the house. The main inspiration for Angels' Share is the mysterious concept of la part des anges - the alcohol that evaporates through the walls of oak barrels as the cognac matures and is believed to be reserved for the gods.
Just as a master perfumer creates a fragrance from chords and notes, a master boozer searches for the perfect proportions to produce a noble drink. Angels' Share includes a note of cognac, derived from the drink of the same name, which gives the jus a natural caramel color. The composition opens with the aroma of cognac on a base of oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute. The rare elixir, intended for the angels themselves, is smoothed by gourmand notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla.
Details:
The Liquors collection bottles are reminiscent of the Art Deco glasses used to serve alcohol in luxury speakeasy bars. Light refracts through the massive lid engraved with the letter K. The name of the fragrance is silk-screened on a golden plaque. According to Kilian's philosophy, true luxury should be long-lasting, so the bottle is refillable.
